    Description

Conceptic Design Hookah Heat Management Device is made of stainless steel. The fully one-piece construction gives it great durability and reliability in operation.

The wall of the heat controller is unique to the hookah market. There are 2 slots in the top diameter of the wall for easy and safe use of the tongs.
The wall on both sides has a stepped shape to put 4 coals in three options.
    1. High heat intensity: 2 top coals are placed in the V-shaped cutout on the wall.
    2. Medium heat intensity: the 2 top coals are placed on top of the V-shaped notch on the wall.
    3. Low heat intensity: the 2 top coals are ribbed over the "ears" with the slots for the tongs.
This variability in heat control helps to achieve the right temperature setting for any tobacco and type of filler.

The large number of holes on the bottom ensures good air circulation and even heat distribution throughout the mixture. Ribbed bottom to increase air circulation between the charcoal and the bottom. This prevents the charcoal from fading.

    Pretty nice piece of hardware

I got this HMD a couple weeks ago in the Bronze color. I really do like it quite a lot. It has a lot of pros with only a couple cons:

Pros: It seems to be made out of stainless steel and of pretty nice quality.
It can house about three cubes of charcoal if you are using cube charcoal for a longer burn. (This is not how they show you how to use it perhaps, but that will be spoken about later)

The holes are on the outside and not in the center so a lot less ash tends to fall in your shisha.

It looks VERY nice and cool to have on top of the bowl.

Cons: It has little slits to pick up with tongs to raise it up, but this can feel a little precarious at times, takes a little bit of practice.

You gotta use the tongs or invest in welding gloves since the whole thing gets really hot, if you wanna take it off to mix shisa or change the bowl you gotta pick it up and put it somewhere somehow.

Shisha that gets burnt on the bottom tends to stick really badly, and is very hard to clean off, so make sure you ain't packing your bowl too high.

The way they send instructions seems to be all in Russian? That said I looked up the video for how to use it and they show using four cubes of charcoal at one time. That is a bit too much heat for me as I am a single port smoker. That said it also kind of makes the charcoal very very precarious.

If you use self-lighting charcoal pucks you can't fit two into this bowl at one time unless you break them in half each first.

All in all I still like this item a lot, it sure is a lot better to use than just getting some foil out and poking holes in it. The cons I listed might seem more than the pros, but in quality it is a better product in my opinion than just using foil, by a huge measure.
